Zero-tolerance approach to corruption
Law is the material of democracy where its authenticity reflects. Promise inherent in law is reflected in democratic intent. Manipulation– making people behave without their knowing why and perhaps against their best interests and wishes - is the alienation of democracy. Corruption is a form of state privilege that annihilates the last resort of democracy. State corruption is a threat to the very fabric of society. Crimes against the law are facts against society – they are not facts of some branches of the state- e.g. executive- against facts of other branches- e.g. judicial. Increasing explosion of factual complexity is increasing awareness of the indeterminacy of law. To save it from arbitrariness judiciary has zero-tolerance approach to corruption.
